Killer Apex

Killer Apex is the final classic 9×9 proving ground in Sudoku Cosmos. Across 200 boards, the clue field tightens every ten boards until it reaches a uniquely solvable clue floor; late boards add tighter time pressure with zero assist.

Format checkKiller is a product difficulty name, not cage-sum Killer Sudoku. These boards use standard 1–9 rules: each digit appears once in every row, column, and 3×3 box. No cages or sum clues.

How to meet it

Start with a trustworthy process.

Use the same reliable loop at every 9×9 level: scan the crowded unit, check the crossing unit, record candidates only when needed, then place the value that survives all three constraints.

  1. 01Read the givens

Find the row, column, or box where only a short list remains.

  2. 02Eliminate visibly

Let crossing constraints remove candidates; never promote a guess into a rule.

  3. 03Protect the board state

Use notes and undo as deliberate tools, not as a reason to rush the placement.
